Much Better Than Expected |
These (thankfully) taste nothing like sweet chilli sauce, it's more of a spicy barbecue flavour. There's tomato, onion and garlic flavours going on, all which remind me of my homemade barbecue sauce with a bit of added heat.

Perfect Flavour Coating |
These are by no means hot but they have a nice little chilli kick that blends in perfectly. Personally I wouldn't have called these sweet thai chill flavour, that put me off to begin with and I got a big surprise when I tasted them. If you like sweet thai chilli you may enjoy these crisps but that isn't what they taste like. The flavour name is somewhat misleading.
Just like the other flavours reviewed - Sea Salt and Cyder Vinegar and Mature Cheddar and Spring Onion - these crisps are top quality.
The three things I always judge the standard of crisps on are potato quality, cooking oil quality and even flavour coating. These tick all the boxes and are an amazing flavour, if somewhat different from what it says on the bag.
Jack Pots have been an amazing find and it's going to take a lot for another brand to tempt me away from these. I've tried a lot of 'finest' type crisp brands and these are so far the very best sampled.
Always a bonus when a brand has clear gluten free labelling.
