After sampling those and my findings were that they are absolutely gorgeous! My Dad got transferred to a different hospital that happened to have a Sainsburys around the corner. This store stocked Byron Bay Triple Choc Fudge Cookies, so they were promptly removed from the shelf and placed into my hungry possession. Again, absolutely delicious with the most lovely, comforting (much needed at this time) flavour of chocolate and fudge that was just dreamy.
I happened to mention my new found love of these products on Twitter and the wonderful Byron Bay Cookies sent me samples of the other flavours that I couldn't get hold of to try. I'm not exaggerating, really I'm not, but they have sent me so many cookies that if I don't pace myself, I'm going to need Weight Watchers help in a week or so!
I've only sampled two of the new to me flavours, but what I've sampled are above and beyond what I've ever experienced from a gluten free cookie or biscuit before. The texture is by far the best I've come across, yes it crumbles a little, but just like any other regular cookie out there, for gluten free this is a triumph. As for the taste, well that's why this post ends here and two new ones entirely devoted to each flavour I've tried so far will be going up.
If you're a coeliac or know someone who is, go out and find Byron Bay Cookies and eat them, you will not be disappointed!
We absolutely love them too! I'm not even glutenfree but these are my favourite cookies
ReplyDeleteThey remind me of 'real' cookies from my days of not having to be gluten free. Other gluten free cookies don't compare!
