Sriracha Prawn Skewers

sriracha king prawns
Hot, Rich And Juicy
In case you hadn't noticed, we're big fans of Sriracha here at Free From G, there's currently 3 kinds in the fridge and for this recipe I used the Extra Garlic one, it's sooo good.

This is one of the most quick and easy things to make but for the best flavours I recommend that you marinate the prawns for at least an hour, everything else takes a few minutes.

For 2 servings.

Ingredients:
sriracha king prawns ingredients
Easy Pease
14 Raw King Prawns
2 Tablespoons Sriracha Extra Garlic Sauce
2 Tablespoons Gluten Free Oyster Sauce (we use Chan Moon Kee)

Directions:
raw king prawns
Always Devein Prawns!
  • Put the sriracha and oyster sauce into a bowl or container and mix together
  • Add the prawns and mix so that they are evenly coated

Marinated Prawns
  • Marinate for one hour in the fridge
  • Soak bamboo skewers in cold water for a few minutes so they don't burn when grilling, use kitchen paper to dry them
  • Cover a grill pan in tin foil
  • Preheat the grill to high
  • Thread the prawns onto the skewers making sure that both the tail and top part are threaded
  • Lay onto the foiled grill pan

Pretty Prawns
  • Put under the grill for 7 minutes, turn halfway through at 3 1/2
  • Serve with your choice of side dish
The Extra Garlic Sriracha and Oyster Sauce make a wonderfully rich and spicy combination that compliments the meatiness of the King Prawns perfectly.
