That was the thought process going on when I first spied the box. If you see this buy it. Yoki Cheese Bread is amazing!
I was never a huge fan of regular bread prior to being gluten free, I would use it as a filler rather than something I enjoyed. Toast, quick sandwich, that was about it. The breads I loved were tear and share, flat breads that had different toppings (usually cheese). I also used to love a cheese naan. What was different about these breads were that they were usually eaten warm and had a lovely fluffy, soft inside.
I had no idea what Yoki Cheese Bread was going to turn out like but it pays to try new things! This product is amazing. I kept having to ask my other half if it was definitely gluten free, it didn't look, taste or feel gluten free to me.
You simply pour the flour mix into a bowl, add 2 eggs and 100ml of water, mix and knead! That's it.
You then shape into balls (we made 9) and put on a baking tray. Cook for 25 minutes on 180C.
What you end up with are crusty on the outside, soft and doughy on the inside, with a lovely cheese flavour.

Another person said that you have to eat these warm or else they aren't good. We had one leftover from lunch that I devoured a few hours later, I don't agree with that comment, I found the taste and texture just as lovely.
If you're lucky enough to see a box of Yoki Cheese Bread mix on your shopping travels, be sure to put a pack in your basket or trolley, you will not be disappointed. This stuff is just like real tear and share and naan breads, I'm still amazed that it's gluten free, but it is. Dip into a bit of melted garlic butter and you have a lunch really worth sharing. Delicious!
