Sinusitis, The Goblin King And My Kind Of Funny

covonia catarrh relief
Wonky, Like Me
If you're a regular reader and not someone who landed here because you searched for "is covonia catarrh relief gluten free" - If you did, it is, Hi! - you probably know that I've had my fair share of sinus problems over the years, though mainly when I was a teenager.

The problem flared up again a few years ago when I was concerned that I had another alien inside my face but overall my sinuses haven't been too much of an issue. That was until about a month or so back.

If you've never had sinus problems then you just can't understand how disgustingly annoying it is. I mean, in the grand scheme of things I'll take sinusitis over being glutened any day because being glutened is utter hell but when your face / head has been hurting for weeks on end and your throat has a constant trickle of what feels like Slimer doing something unmentionable in there, it gets bloody annoying.

Before I get to one of my usual off topic rambles, for the sake of being informative Covonia make several gluten free herbal remedies that actually work. I've only been taking the catarrh formula since Saturday and I haven't exactly been taking it as often as I should have, but it has eased the dodgy Slimer feeling somewhat. Today I've started taking the double impact lozenges to help clear my sinsues, stupid to have left it so long but better late than never, right?

And so to the fun, utterly silly stuff.

I'm an avid fan of Buzzfeed and when I saw this posted the other day, the writing made me laugh so much that I hurt. I don't know what it is about the current cosmic climate but I do know that all manner of - some might say - questionable funny innuendo is flying about, it just seems like more than usual and it's no coincidence that I've been laughing like my old self.

I hadn't seen Labyrinth since I was about 10 so um, when I re-watched it after reading that... Well. Could someone please write a similar piece about the following because I know suspect that I was not alone!

In search of a continuation of laughs I found myself... (if we don't share the same sense of humour it might be better to look away now) going through things that I had favourited on my read only Twitter account. The following.... it's exactly the type of thing I'd say:

Yes, I know. But if you knew my parents people, you would understand.

Not yet quite hysterical enough I then turned my attention to the gift that is Mumsnet. If you haven't heard about Mumsnet, where have you been?!

Two words.... Baked Goods.

That took me to a suitable level of crying my eyes out in a good way. I don't know why the hell I find baked goods in odd places funny but oh I do.

And so I made it some how back to food via pancake batter down a chimney and random baked goods on a darkened street. I think I'm quite good entertainment value really.

:p
