A Just Made Free From G Bacon Bomb

I once worked with a girl who was a very vocal Vegetarian, except she would often be found with a Bacon Roll at lunchtimes. Confused, I once asked "Did you get fed up not eating meat?" to which she replied "Meat? It's a Bacon Roll", I must have had a very puzzled look on my face as she then told me "Bacon isn't meat, it's Bacon".

Okaaaaay. I guess she had a point.

To celebrate the wonder that is Bacon I thought it would be good to put together all the Free From G recipes that use it, there's been some fun experiments.

Can't Beat A Bit Of Streaky

In my other life as a Copywriter I once wrote an extensive article about Bacon flavoured or Bacon smelling products, also stuff that just looked like Bacon, it was quite an eye opener. I've since had Bacon flavoured Popcorn but in case you aren't aware, there's a whole host of other things available like air fresheners, plasters, dental floss and lots, lots more. It's quite fun really.

Not that it's going to be gluten free but I'd happily have a copy of this on my coffee table, just for the cover. I also really want to try this, I have no idea what it tastes like combined but I want some (it's listed as <20ppm on the brand site).

So that's my bit for Bacon Week done, lots of recipes, talk of non Bacon Bacon products and I'm still scratching my head about the vocal Vegetarian. You never know what a Free From G post will hold.
