The Byron Bay Dotty

byron bay dottie cookie
Yum In A Packet
This cookie has really grown on me recently, it's ideal for when a chocolate craving strikes. For me it's almost brownie like in texture when you chew it, then you get the crunch from the Smartie type sweets (the dots) and it's all just a big chocolaty fun party in your mouth.

I love the fact that you can actually break big pieces of the Dotty off and they hold together without crumbling.

As chocolate cookies go this is up there and not just against gluten free ones, this could hold it's own against any regular chocolate biscuit or cookie. It has a lovely rich triple chocolate flavor where the milk, plain and white chocolate combine to make a really smooth and luxurious finish.

I'd actually quite like to put this in a blender and make a milkshake, I'm thinking that would work. Shame our blender died :(

This is a really fun looking cookie that like all Byron Bay's could be described as quite substantial! It's not hard to polish off a Dotty in one go though. If you want a gluten free chocolaty treat, give a Dotty a go, it may look like a novelty cookie but trust me, the taste is quite grown up.

Other favourites include:

White Chocolate and Macadamia
Clotted Cream, Strawberries and White Chocolate
The Domino - Chocolate and Vanilla

  2. That's really odd we can't get the Dotty ones over here in Australia. Seems very strange that an (originally) Australian company that offers a whole lot of gluten free options overseas has so little to offer over here. I'll have to see if I can find some at a British Supermarket when I go to Sydney next week.

  3. That is odd, thought you would have lots more choices than me.

Enjoy Sydney, be careful though! :)
